The rind of this cheese is quite irregular, fluffy and sometimes gey. The paste is ivory to yellow and can sometimes have some small round holes due to fermentation. Supple and creamy with its typical heart smell, the dough is milky, herbaceous and has a slight fresh hazelnut flavour.
Raw Milk - Cow - Saint Nectaire cheese originally from the Auvergne region of France. The milk used for this cheese comes from mountain's cow fed on rich and volcanic gass that gives the cheese its flavourful hazelnut taste.
