Its paste is very characteristic, with a white-ivory colour and delicately blue marbled. With a slight salty flavour, soft, creamy and sometimes melting, the Fourme d’Ambert flavour remains round and sweet without overpower on the palate.
Raw Milk - Cow - Fourme d'Ambert comes from the Auvergne region of France, and is one of France's oldest cheese. Its origin can be traced from the Roman's empire over a 1 000 years ago.
