The Gamay grapes are grown on granitic sands and give a very elegant wine. The nose is precise with delicate red fruits aromas and mineral hints. The minerality drives a palate of impressive tension all the way up to a lovely bitter finish.
From the beginning, Paul-Henri has farmed organically, working some of the vineyards with a horse and using biodynamic treatments. Since 2015 he has gone back to a traditional vinification method using cool semi-carbonic maceration. The use of sulphur sis close to zero and the wines are not filtered.
