Our Specialists’ Opinion

This little cheese has a natural beige rind and sometimes becomes bluish during maturation. The paste is smooth, firm and homogeneous. In mouth you get some lactic notes, hazelnut flavours and a goaty taste which becomes persistent after ripening.


Raw Milk – Goat – Located in Hurigny near Mâcon, the Chevenet company started with only one goat and now counts 2000 Alpines goats in the farm. In 2014, the son Thierry Chevenet opened a second cheese manufacture in the Charolais area.
