Being thicker, means the Jesus is much more tender and less dry than the saucisson sec, it is closer in terms of taste and texture to the Rosette.


The saucisson Jesus finds its origins in Lyon. Pear shape like, it is bigger than the classic saucisson d’Ardeche. It is prepared with noble cuts, natural casings are used and the saucisson is tied up during the drying process to maintain its original shape.
