Fruity aromas and creaminess characterise this cheese. The paste is golden in colour and has a creamy texture in the mouth. The typical taste of this cheese will not be too strong but will sometimes carry some pineapple flavours.


Raw Milk – Cow – AOP since 1996, the Beaufort Chalet d’Alpage is made by traditional farmers. They produce the cheese in summer at a minimum altitude of 1,500m and with the milk of a single flock. The particular shape of the cheese facilitates its transportation from the mountain to the valley.
