This Cote de Brouilly offers a fresh fruity nose of cherries, wild strawberries and peony. The palate is juicy and mineral with a fresh finish of black fruits and a hint of spices.
Built in the 15th century, Chateau Thivin is the oldest property on the Mont Brouilly. In 1877, Zaccharie Geoffray purchased the estate with 2 hectares of lands. Since, then the Geoffray family extended the domaine and increased the quality of the production. Today, Claude Geoffray and his son are the 5th and 6th generation to run the family estate and they brought it to the very top of the Cote de Brouilly appellation.
