Le Quinze Vins was created in November 2010 in Paris (5th arrondissement) by a group of French wine enthusiasts who wanted to share their passion. In 2012, the company relocated in the same neighbourhood, as a wine shop, and just a year later was awarded Best Wine Shop 2013 by ‘La Revue du Vin de France’.

After Paris, Le Quinze Vins opened its first wine bar in Asia, starting with Hong Kong, Wan Chai district, in August 2014. A second bar opened twelve months later, this time in Central district.

​The spirit of LQV is all about sharing French high-quality products. Ask a wine lover: ‘what is a good bottle of wine without some cheese, some cold cuts, or a hearty piece of meat?’ Something is missing. In this spirit, La Crèmerie, a traditional cheese shop, opened in Wanchai in July 2017, and only three months after, Le Boucher Français, a meat and cold-cut restaurant, opened its doors just across the street. Late 2018, a second cheese shop and a retail meat shop opened in Mid-Levels. In 2019, pursuing its wish to provide the best French wines available, Le Quinze Vins will welcome its fifth wine bar, also located in Mid-Levels.
